Policy Subcommittee Meeting
Monday, October 24, 2016
A meeting of the Teaching & Learning Subcommittee was held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 5:00
pm in the Coddington Building. Present were, Mrs. Kathryn Hubley, Ms. Barbara Isola, Mayor Thomas
Koch, Mrs. Emily Lebo, Mrs. Anne Mahoney, and Mr. Paul Bregoli Chair. Also attending were
Superintendent DeCristofaro, Deputy Superintendent Kevin Mulvey, Mrs. Maura Papile, Mrs. Erin
Perkins, Mr. Keith Segalla; Quincy Education Association President Allison Cox; and Ms. Laura Owens,
Clerk.
Mr. Bregoli reviewed that a review of the School Committee Policy Book is underway, with Sections 1
and 2 complete. Mr. Bregoli shared copies of the suggested changes, some are minor, relating to
consistency and updating references; others are major relating to changes in laws.
Mr. Bregoli asked School Committee to review the suggested changes to Sections 1 and 2; these will
be discussed further at the next Policy meeting.
Ms. Isola made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 pm. Mrs. Hubley seconded the motion and
on a voice vote, the ayes have it.
